About The Position

The GAAP Financial Reporting Analyst Senior prepares monthly internal financial statements and monthly, quarterly, and annual external financial statements and reports. The position is hybrid and requires the associate to work from the Newtown Square, Pennsylvania office at least three days per week, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The role also prepares regulatory and state filings, management reports, related-party transaction reports and audited disclosures, and audited annual financial statements and related disclosures and footnotes under GAAP, OCBOA, and benefit plan reporting requirements. The analyst maintains and creates reports in Workiva and identifies and implements process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 3 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience.
• Experience preparing annual audited financial statements, reports, related disclosures, and footnotes based on U.S. GAAP and OCBOA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Preferably at least 2 years of experience at a public accounting firm.
• Experience with Workiva or a similar system.
• Experience with PeopleSoft, Hyperion/FCCS/Cloud, or a similar ERP system.
• Healthcare industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, regulatory financial statements, state reports and filings, and management reports.
• Prepare reports and audited disclosures associated with related-party transactions.
• Prepare audited annual financial statements, reports, related disclosures, and footnotes for GAAP, OCBOA, and benefit plans.
• Identify process inefficiencies, recommend efficient alternatives, and facilitate implementation of process improvements.
• Maintain and create reports in Workiva.
