About The Position

Primrose School of Johns Creek Northwest is seeking a passionate GA Prek Assistant Teacher to support lead teachers and help provide young learners with quality care and education. The role supports daily classroom activities, lesson implementation, student engagement, and a safe, positive learning environment. The assistant teacher also helps maintain communication and collaboration among children, parents, and staff, and supports classroom organization and documentation of children's progress and behavior. The position is full-time, with working hours from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Classrooms are designed to be engaging and stimulating and to provide children with a safe space to explore and learn.

Requirements

Experience working with young children in an educational setting.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a preschool or early childhood education environment.
Relevant training or certifications in early childhood education.

Responsibilities

Assist the lead teacher with daily classroom activities and help ensure a safe, positive learning environment.
Support the implementation of lesson plans and engage students in educational activities.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to create a collaborative community.
Monitor and document children's progress and behavior, and provide feedback to the lead teacher.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure materials and resources are readily available for students.
