About The Position

This position will oversee all GA lineside and Dock operations. Daily duties include overseeing hot shot and repair orders to ensure all parts get delivered to the correct GA departments, pulling parts from safety stock and coordinate all returns to OCC. GA Specialist will need to oversee dock organization, assist with lineside operations, and provide proficient feedback to all corresponding personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Strong and effective communication.
• Detail oriented, precise, and focused.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1 year of direct work experience.
• Warehouse/Production related field of experience preferred.
• Previous Warehouse Dock operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization of dollies on the docks.
• Pull parts from Safety Stock to supply GA line.
• Manage all hot shot and repair orders.
• Effectively communicate with GFA, GA PC, and GLOVIS members.
• Coordinate returns of problematic or unused parts to OCC.
• Assist and necessary with sequencing of parts lineside.
• Coordinate all empty trailer returns to OCC.
• Assist with conveyor issues.
• Occasionally assist with locating parts lineside.
