Mango, founded in Barcelona Spain, is an internationally well-known fashion brand that designs, manufactures, and markets women’s, men’s and kid’s clothing and accessories and has over 2220 stores worldwide. We are looking for a Store Manager, who must be an exceptional leader who can motivate, inspire, and develop the store team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Retail management experience; fashion retail would be considered an asset.
  • Extensive experience and ability to lead the delivery of a high level of customer service in a brand retailer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and retail business systems
  • Self-motivated to build, grow, lead and manage high-performing teams, with strong coaching and mentoring abilities
  • Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive role model for the team in driving and maintaining high standards throughout the store
  • Effectively communicate tasks, plans, and goals, and monitor the progress of team members against key business metrics
  • Recruit top talent in the store to deliver on our commitment to provide an outstanding shopping experience to every customer.
  • Train, coach, develop, motivate and inspire the store team to ensure internal succession planning
  • Provide superior customer service and ensure each team member understands and applies the Mango Service Policy
  • Prepare and host weekly staff meetings to deliver sales targets, product information and other matters of interest for the team.
  • Develop overall and individual action plans to ensure the team meets sales targets and key metrics: Conversion Rate, Items per Receipt, Average Shopping Basket, etc.
  • Effectively minimize expenses by optimizing resources (i.e. workforce, supplies, )
  • Ensure merchandising directives and standards are implemented efficiently and visual standards are maintained at all times
  • Maintain store operations by ensuring store image and environment are to standards (i.e. cleanliness, music, lighting, displays, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with all country/local laws and regulations in the areas of health, safety, labour and employment, as well as any applicable company policies, guidelines, and
  • Perform other related duties within the scope of practice as assigned
