About The Position

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern works with the Director of Platforms and Social Media Content and Operations team members to support quality assurance for digital marketing experiences related to FX original content on FXNetworks.com and FX social platforms. The intern may support digital marketing launches, organize editorial priorities and social media processes, ideate and script social media creative, and help launch FX Originals on Hulu through Instagram, TikTok, and Threads.

This internship runs from January 2027 through June 2027. The intern must be available Monday through Friday, primarily for the duration of the internship, for 40 hours each week. The role is based in the Burbank, California area, and the intern must provide their own housing and reliable transportation.

Requirements

• Be enrolled in an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree and taking at least one class at the time of application, or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Possess unrestricted work authorization.
• Have knowledge of FX Networks programming, FXNetworks.com, and entertainment content.
• Understand digital marketing, social media, and content marketing principles.
• Be aware of current digital platforms, social media trends, and emerging technologies.
• Have experience using social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and other video-sharing networks, for content creation, engagement, or audience growth.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills through academic, professional, or extracurricular experiences.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Be available for a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship, from January 2027 through June 2027, primarily Monday through Friday for 40 hours each week.
• Provide own housing for the internship in the Burbank, California area.
• Have or provide reliable transportation to and from work in the Burbank, California area.
• Current Disney Interns and College, International, or Culinary Program Participants may work for only one consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

Nice To Haves

• Previous internship experience with a television network, studio, streaming service, entertainment company, or other media organization.
• Previous experience supporting digital marketing campaigns, content strategy, or audience development initiatives.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop.

Responsibilities
