About The Position
The Women's Basketball Office at South Georgia Technical College seeks a Federal Work-Study student to support game-day and team operations. This role involves assisting with various aspects of team management and game execution.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled for Fall Semester 2026 in at least six (6) credit hours.
- Must be approved for Federal Student Aid for the 2026–2027 award year.
- Must be eligible to participate in the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program.
- Must be making satisfactory academic progress.
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check and/or other required screening, if applicable.
- Must complete all required State of Georgia and South Georgia Technical College employment paperwork before beginning work.
- Students may not begin working until all required hiring paperwork has been completed and approved.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends and travel with the team to away games as required.
- Candidates must pass a criminal background check before employment.
Responsibilities

- Washing jerseys
- Operating the game clock
- Assisting with equipment
- Performing other assigned team-related duties
