About The Position

This position provides coverage for the Recreation/Game Room desk. This is a federal work study position. Hours are Flexible - 5-15 hours per week. All hours of operation needed. Limited hours available between sessions. Specific need: 10:00 am-6:00 pm Monday-Thursday; 10:00 am-4:00 pm Friday; closed Saturday, Sundays and holidays.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at Stark State College
• Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Must have effective personal communication skills
• The ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner
• The ability to present and conduct oneself in a professional manner

Nice To Haves

• Prior knowledge of video games and systems including their connectivity and capability
• Outgoing, energetic, self-starter

Responsibilities

• Monitors the Recreation/Game Room space
• Checks out games, controllers, and other equipment to participants
• Keeps the room neat and organized
• Notifies the Director of Student Leadership and Engagement of any equipment or repair needs
• Keeps accurate record of game room usage
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
