About The Position

FWS Micro Internships are short-term, project-based work assignments completed by a Federal Work Study student with defined deliverables and learning outcomes. These projects are 10 - 40 hours total and are not on-going, operational roles. Selected students will deliver specific outcomes, build professional skills, and support departmental needs in a short-term capacity. The Career Services Office is looking for student support with social media and marketing projects for July - early August. Complete a short-term campus summer project and earn $17.50 / hour! Build professional skills Support a CState department Earn up to $700 No commitment to continue after project completion.

Requirements

Have an Accepted Federal Work Study award as part of their 2025-26 Financial Aid award with Columbus State.
Be enrolled in SIX or more credit hours in a degree or certificate program.
Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
Have a high school diploma or a certificate of attendance from an accredited secondary school or a certificate of high school equivalence and be exempt from Ohio Revised Code Chapter 4109.
Have reliable transportation or other means of getting to work regularly.
Students enrolled as Transient, College Credit Plus, Undecided, or otherwise non-degree-seeking are not considered eligible for Student Employment.
