About The Position

The Family Violence Officer Coordinator is expected to work with the Director of Family Violence regarding the overall daily operations. The role involves overseeing advocacy and administrative procedures, handling financial responsibilities, and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate is proactive and organized professional with exceptional leadership and communication skills who can motivate a team and drive the program’s success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 4 or more years of experience in office setting
  • Intermediate proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office.
  • Willing and able to stand and walk for an extended period
  • Must be certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) by American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 90 days.
  • Must be HIPAA and Privacy Act trained within 90 days.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Must maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Requires a high level of personal integrity, confidentiality and ethics.
  • Requires a high level of problem-solving skills.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Must maintain a professional attitude and appearance that positively represents the Nation is of the highest importance.
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record – may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles.
