About The Position

Join a global healthcare leader for a 10-12 week paid internship in drug discovery research within our Research and Development Division. Participate in projects within a Cardiometabolic disease team and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a research lab environment to engage in drug discovery and development activities to gain hands-on experience.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or Ph.D. in a relevant field with interest or experience in drug discovery research.
• Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or one year of graduate studies by the start of the internship.
• Must be continuing education for at least one semester after the internship.
• Understanding and training in safe lab practices.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.

Nice To Haves

• Prior laboratory research experience in relevant techniques.
• Experience in in vitro cell line culture and in vitro assay research environment.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities
