Requirements

  • Experience serving as a field grade officer
  • Experience serving in a key developmental position at brigade or battalion level
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Army and Joint doctrine
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations up to 20% of the time
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Completion of Military Education Level (MEL4) CGSC, Warrant Officer Senior Service Education (WOSSE), or Sergeants Major Course (SMC)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience serving as a planner on a division of higher staff
  • Experience serving as a warfighting function trainer at MCTP, Intermediate Level Education (ILE) or similar school
  • Graduate of the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and integration of exercise scenarios, operational narratives, and future operations injects that support training objectives and replicate current and emerging operational environments.
  • Develop and coordinate plans related to force protection, survivability, antiterrorism, and UAP integration across all phases of scenario design and exercise execution.
  • Lead and synchronize activities, including planning and integration of Space, Cyber, Electromagnetic Warfare, Information Operations, and Civil Affairs effects into the scenario design and WFX execution.
  • Coordinate the representation of the information environment, including social media, traditional media, and information operations, to enhance training realism and support learning objectives.
  • Maintain and manage the multidomain Operational Environment (OE) for training audiences during WFX execution.
  • Lead the integration, synchronization, and delivery of scenario stimulation not generated by the computer simulation system.
  • Coordinate with simulation cells, higher command role players, and observer-coach/trainers (OC/Ts) to ensure coherent delivery of operational stimuli and effects.
  • Work closely with program divisions, training audiences, and external organizations to ensure all aspects of the scenario are aligned with training objectives and the contemporary operational environment.
