About The Position

The Future Leaders Program – Management (Industrial) is a hands-on, accelerated path designed for new graduates who are excited by supply chain, sales, business development, and entrepreneurship. This program teaches participants how to run a business end to end, providing practical experience, strong mentorship, competitive compensation, full benefits, and profit sharing, all while preparing them to lead their own operation. Successful candidates may be required to relocate within Canada for training, with relocation assistance provided. Opportunities are available across the country.

Requirements

  • Recent university or college graduates (all disciplines welcome)
  • Positive attitude, results-driven mindset, and a desire to learn
  • Strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Interest in sales and business development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through a structured, four-phase program to gain full visibility into business operations, including supply chain, operations, sales, leadership, and strategy.
  • Own projects, manage accounts, build customer relationships, and make business decisions with guidance from experienced leaders.
  • Gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, product knowledge, vendor coordination, pricing, credit, financial statements, and logistics.
  • Develop strong customer and vendor relationships, manage larger projects and complex orders, read blueprints, and develop material quotes.
  • Deliver high-impact, solutions-focused service.
  • Identify and win new business opportunities, negotiate contracts, and grow key accounts.
  • Expand market presence and customer partnerships through proactive, strategic selling.
  • Lead and mentor a team, set strategy, vision, and performance goals.
  • Manage operations, profitability, and people.
  • Transition from trainee to business leader.
  • Grow sales, profitability, and market share in a Profit Centre Manager role.
  • Hire, train, coach, and lead a high-performing team.
  • Analyze financials and make strategic decisions.
  • Manage inventory, assets, marketing plans, and purchasing.
  • Build strong community and customer relationships.
  • Ensure exceptional service, safety, and operational excellence.
