About The Position

The Cincinnati Insurance Companies are seeking undergraduate participants for the Summer 2027 Future Insurance Professionals program based at their headquarters in Fairfield, OH. This immersive opportunity is a joint program between The Cincinnati Insurance Companies and their independent agencies. During this program, participants will receive three weeks of hands-on training and classes, including high-level overviews of personal and commercial insurance. They will spend time on underwriting teams to observe account underwriting and have the opportunity to shadow Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Excess & Surplus Lines underwriters, along with Claims and Loss Control associates. Participants will gain valuable lessons and relationship knowledge between agents and carriers through interactions. This is a 3-week program set for May 17th - June 4th.

Requirements

• Enrolled as a full-time, undergraduate student at an accredited college/university.
• Sophomore, junior, or senior standing (as of Fall 2026 semester).
• All majors are welcome to apply.
• Collegiate transcripts required with submission of candidate profile (unofficial are acceptable).
• In good academic standing (cumulative GPA: 3.0 or higher preferred).

Responsibilities

• Participate in three weeks of hands-on training and classes.
• Gain high-level overviews of personal and commercial insurance.
• Observe underwriting teams to understand how accounts are underwritten.
• Shadow Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, and Excess & Surplus Lines underwriters.
• Shadow Claims and Loss Control associates.
• Experience valuable lessons and gain relationship knowledge between agents and carriers.
