About The Position
Option Excavating is seeking an experienced Fusion Technician to support our underground utility projects. This position is responsible for performing quality HDPE pipe fusion while maintaining high standards for safety and workmanship.
Requirements
- Previous HDPE fusion experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
Nice To Haves
- Fusion certifications are considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Perform butt fusion and electrofusion of HDPE pipe.
- Inspect materials before and after fusion.
- Operate and maintain fusion equipment.
- Ensure all work meets project specifications.
- Work closely with field crews to complete installations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
