About The Position

Harco Fittings is seeking an energetic individual to be responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, and overhaul of mechanical systems used in production. Fuse technicians are responsible for adapting pre-cut materials to order specifications by heating materials utilizing hot plates and pressure to soften and bond the materials. This role is based in our facility in Stevensville, MT.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Must be a self-starter with good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills coupled with an eagerness to learn
Great teammate with a proven track record to contribute to and cultivate a positive work environment
Ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs
Comfortable operating heavy equipment
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Safety and quality conscious
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and ask questions if something is unclear

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or certificate of completion is preferred
Prior construction and forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Operating heavy equipment needed in the fabrication of fittings
Accurately using measuring tools such as a tape measure
Working in a fast-paced environment
Safely operating different types of equipment and hand tools
Wearing proper safety equipment as directed by the safety department and supervisor
Adapting pre-cut materials to order specifications by heating materials utilizing hot plates and pressure to soften and bond the materials
Assisting in other areas when needed
