About The Position

The Facilities Operations Division at Massanutten Resort is looking for furniture installers to join their dynamic and customer service-oriented team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a great group of people, and the company is willing to train the right candidate. This is a full-time, year-round position with 100% employee ownership.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Experience operating small hand tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.
• Good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in the hospitality industry or student housing.
• High school or equivalent education.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently install furnishings and accessories in timeshare units and other resort facilities.
• Handle and transport furniture.
• Unwrap furniture, remove debris, and recycle packaging material.
• Coordinate furniture pick-ups when necessary.
• Perform wall mounting and art installation.
• Perform repairs in a timely manner.
• Receive shipments and ensure merchandise is in good order, reporting any damages.
• Complete quality checks.
• Perform general maintenance repairs, including touch-up paint and small furniture repairs.
• Assist Replacement staff as needed.
• Attend staff development meetings.
• Organize daily assignments for efficient task completion.
• Other duties as assigned by management or supervisor.
