About The Position

Furniture Options is hiring a Furniture Delivery Driver / Installer in the Des Moines area. The role delivers and sets up furniture for customers in apartments and homes while working alongside a small team. The job also involves assembling furniture, loading and unloading, and helping keep the warehouse organized. It is active and physical, requiring regular lifting of 85+ pounds, carrying furniture up and down stairs, and working indoors and outdoors in Iowa weather. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no nights or weekends. Pay is $20–$22 per hour, with weekly pay. Furniture Options is a 100% employee-owned company.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• Be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Be able to safely perform the physical requirements of the job, including regularly lifting 85+ pounds and carrying furniture up and down stairs.
• Be dependable and ready to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Furniture delivery experience is not required; the company is willing to train dependable candidates who are willing to learn and ready to work.

Responsibilities

• Drive a box truck to customer locations.
• Deliver and set up furniture in apartments and homes.
