About The Position

We manufacture a family of Furnace brazed Precision Diamond Dental burs for the dental industry known as Two Stripper. The Furnace Plater Trainee will apply diamond to dental bur blanks using various bonding material layers both by hand and with automated equipment, following documented work instructions. They will also check parts for correct diamond application prior to releasing them to be furnace brazed.

Requirements

Capability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Willingness to follow company PPE standards to work with chemicals found onsite.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
Sit and stand throughout the day as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Apply diamond to dental bur blanks using various bonding material layers both by hand and with automated equipment, following documented work instructions.
Check parts for correct diamond application prior to releasing them to be furnace brazed.
Perform multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a neat and orderly workplace.
Take initiative and demonstrate internal drive for results.
Prioritize and determine the appropriate order of tasks according to relative importance.
Perform some maintenance on equipment used in the process.
Comprehend and successfully follow documented procedures.
Follow all company safety policies and practices.
Ability to work overtime, sometimes on short notice.
