About The Position

We are looking for a full-time furnace operator to perform duties to efficiently and effectively load and unload a variety of furnaces. Work is performed in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to several elements continuously present including heat, dirt, grease, oils, fluids and noise. 1st shift works from Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm.

Requirements

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to stand/walk for the entirety of the shift
Manual dexterity, visual acuity, mental alertness.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally

Nice To Haves

Previous sintering experience preferred
Previous manufacturing experience 1 -2 years preferred

Responsibilities

Load and unload parts as required which includes operating multiple furnaces at one time in a fast-paced environment
Inspect parts visually for foreign material and/or defects
Adhere to work instructions and process cards as required per job
Use various material moving equipment to process parts throughout the plant. e.g. manual and electric pallet jacks and pallet stackers
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned
