Requirements

• Hold and maintain a Funeral Director and Embalmer license that is valid in your area or possess the ability to reciprocate
• Passed the National Board Exam
• A minimum of one year of similar or related experience
• Possess a valid driver's license and meet the driving performance standards as determined by management
• MVR’s may be reviewed annually for compliance, and any conviction or at-fault accidents should be immediately reported to management

Responsibilities

• Provide care and guidance to families during and after the arrangement process
• Supervise and support funeral, visitation, memorial and graveside services
• Float between chapels in the Aurora/Lakewood area to support as needed
• Assist with the preparation of decedents as needed with dignity and professionalism
• Assist with removals as needed
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
