About The Position

The Fundraising volunteer will support efforts to generate essential funds for the Spokane County Democrats. The ideal candidate will help plan, promote, and execute fundraising initiatives, engage with donors, and contribute to the success of our campaigns and events.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Comfortable reaching out to individuals and businesses.
• Basic computer and internet literacy (experience with social media, email, spreadsheets is a plus).

Nice To Haves

• Fundraising or event planning experience is an asset but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising events and campaigns.
• Identify potential donors and sponsorship opportunities.
• Support donor outreach through emails, phone calls, and social media.
• Help create fundraising materials such as flyers, letters, and online content.
• Maintain accurate records of donations and donor communications.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative fundraising ideas.
• Represent the organization positively at community events and meetings.
