About The Position
The Family Resource Network (FRN) is seeking a qualified Development/Fundraising Intern to join our Development team. This position is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world non-profit experience while working closely with the Special Events Manager and other team members. This is a remote role with required in-office and community presence based on event calendar.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year college or university
- Accounting or Finance majors preferred
- Marketing or Communications majors preferred
- Strong research, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented, creative, and eager to learn
- Microsoft Excel competence is required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required

- Bright, motivated Accounting or Finance Marketing or Communications majors who are eager to learn and ready to work hard.
- Solid analytical skills, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and creativity are essential to success.
Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of 2026 special events
- Help secure event sponsorships and donations
- Research potential sponsors and assist with grant applications
- Draft donor acknowledgement and thank you letters
- Provide day-of-event support and assist with fundraising projects
- Assist in managing the back-end of OneCause (ticketing, registration, and reporting)
