Requirements

  • Relationship Builder: Friendly, outgoing, and confident connecting with donors, volunteers, churches, businesses, vendors, and community partners.
  • Project Owner: Proactive and dependable, with the ability to take ownership of events and follow them through from initial planning to completion.
  • Organized Coordinator: Skilled at managing multiple details, deadlines, timelines, budgets, and event documentation while keeping plans moving forward.
  • Mission Aligned: Committed to Cornerstone Reproductive Health's Christian mission, values, and statement of faith, with a desire to contribute to its life-honoring work in the community.

Nice To Haves

  • Experienced Planner: Previous event planning or coordination experience is preferred, with nonprofit, fundraising, community, or corporate event experience a plus.
  • Tech Comfortable: Comfortable with email, standard office technology, and online communication tools; Canva and social media content creation experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of fundraising and community events, including Celebrate Life Fest/Walk for Life, Ladies Tea & Auction, Baby Bottle Campaign, and donor appreciation events.
  • Manage each event from initial planning through setup, execution, tear-down, and post-event follow-up.
  • Coordinate venues, vendors, supplies, materials, budgets, timelines, task lists, and event-day logistics.
  • Build relationships with sponsors, churches, businesses, and community partners while coordinating sponsorship commitments and follow-up.
  • Organize volunteers and planning committees, communicating responsibilities, schedules, deadlines, and event-day expectations.
  • Maintain event records, sponsor and volunteer information, vendor contacts, expenses, procedures, and post-event recommendations to strengthen future events.
  • Create event-related communications and digital content, including social media posts, graphics, reels, and website blogs, using tools such as Canva.
