Fundraising Canvasser - Protect Reproductive Rights
About The Position
Cause & Connect is hiring community canvassers and team leaders in Seattle, Washington, to support reproductive rights and the progressive movement through face-to-face fundraising and public awareness. The work aims to build lasting power for change and support access to essential healthcare, including abortion services. The position offers experience in leadership, communication and advocacy, community outreach and engagement, campaign work, public policy, and social enterprise. Canvasser positions start at $25 per hour, and leadership positions start at $27 per hour. The employer offers overtime pay, driver and shift bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and friend-referral bonuses. Weekday shifts run from 12:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; part-time or full-time work may be possible. Hiring is immediate. Canvassers engage with the public respectfully, deliver campaign messages while meeting fundraising standards, and participate in training. Team leaders also manage and check in with a small field group, ensure canvassers have necessary materials, and assist directors with training and administrative work. Prior canvassing experience is not required, but is preferred.
