About The Position
Join Public Outreach as a Fundraiser and help support some of the world’s leading nonprofit organizations through meaningful, face-to-face conversations. Public Outreach partners with charities focused on important causes including human rights, environmental protection, humanitarian aid, and social justice. Our fundraisers connect with the public, share inspiring stories, and help people become long-term supporters of causes they care about. This is a people-focused role for someone who enjoys meeting new people, starting conversations, and making an impact every day. You’ll spend your day meeting new people, telling meaningful stories, and building your communication skills — not sitting behind a desk.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ years old
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Comfortable speaking with members of the public every day
- Able to work outdoors and remain on your feet during shifts
- Reliable and punctual
- Minimum availability of 21 hours per week

Responsibilities
- Start conversations with members of the public in outdoor community spaces

- Inspire people to become monthly supporters
- Work toward daily and weekly goals with a supportive team
- Receive paid training, coaching, and feedback to help you succeed
