About The Position

Fairstone Bank is seeking a Funding Verifier to review auto loan contracts and documentation for compliance with internal funding policies. This role involves communicating with dealers, sales partners, and internal teams to resolve documentation issues, managing a high-volume workflow with accuracy, and processing various documents. The Funding Verifier will also be responsible for researching lost/missing contracts, updating customer records, and ensuring all documents are accurate, complete, and properly executed. A key aspect of this role is providing prompt, efficient, and customer-oriented service to all stakeholders.

  • High level of accuracy and consistency in document verification and disbursement release
  • Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration

Responsibilities

  • Review auto loan contracts and documentation for compliance with internal funding policies
  • Communicate with dealers, sales partners, and internal teams to obtain missing or corrected documentation
  • Manage a busy workflow while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting defined service standards and turnaround times
  • Follow up with assigned dealerships to resolve pending/missing items for funding via phone and email
  • Communicate and resolve complex contract issues
  • Process any documents received such as contracts and trailing documents
  • Provide lost/missing contract research as needed
  • Update records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
  • Execute detailed document review ensuring all assigned documents are accurate, complete, properly executed, and registered as required
  • Provide prompt, efficient, detailed customer-oriented service to all stakeholders
