This role involves reviewing loan documentation for funding compliance with internal funding policies, managing a busy workflow while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting defined service standards and turnaround times. The Funding Verifier will follow up with assigned dealerships to resolve pending/missing items for funding via phone, fax and email, communicate and resolve complex contract issues, and process any documents received such as contracts and trailing documents. Additionally, the role requires providing lost/missing contract research as needed, updating records of customer interactions, processing customer accounts, and filing documents. The Funding Verifier will execute detailed document review ensuring all assigned documents are accurate, complete, properly executed, and registered as required, while providing prompt, efficient, detailed customer-oriented service to all stakeholders. This includes emailing internally and externally in a timely manner and maintaining professional and pleasant messaging to dealerships through our platform in real time and immediately.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English for our clients across Canada (50% English, 50% French)
Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Exceptional attention to detail while operating under a sense of urgency
Strong analytical and arithmetic skills
Advanced internet browsing and amazing investigative skills
Strong phone contact handling and active listening skills
Ability to prioritize allocated workflow seamlessly
Tech savvy and know your way through Microsoft Office and Outlook

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a lending, automotive related business, or financial services
High level of accuracy and consistency in document verification and disbursement release
Post-secondary education in Finance or Business Administration

Responsibilities
