The ideal candidate will be a client-focused, highly professional self-starter with demonstrated experience in a similar function. They will also have a positive attitude with a high level of quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Requirements

College diploma
At least 2 years of experience in a similar function
Familiarity with mortgages is preferred
Strong mathematical skills with attention to detail including experience analyzing complex financial transactions
Strong inter-personal, verbal, written communication skills
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours

Responsibilities

Calculate mortgage payouts and generate funding documentation including payout letters, statements of receipt and disbursements
Manage a queue of files and complete all related funding activities
Calculate amounts to pay for secured debts
Liaise with clients and lenders; resolve and escalate issues as necessary
Ensure proper information is given for payment of debts
Conduct the requisition of funds from lenders
Provide internal guidelines to the trust accounting team regarding proof of receipt of funds and disbursements
Complete daily ad-hoc funding related tasks; such as cheque separation, Intria faxing, and other tasks as assigned
