About The Position
TEKsystems is currently searching for career-driven candidates interested in a Mortgage Funder opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Pensacola, FL area! This role provides operational support to Mortgage Closers to expedite the funding process. The Funder will assist in the closing of mortgage loans, completing the funding process for closing transactions and ensuring loans are reviewed to minimize the risk of post-settlement errors. The position is responsible for accurately disbursing funds in accordance with lender closing instructions and signed closing statements, and ensuring the accuracy of documents and balancing funds, requesting corrections or required documents as needed. A detailed review of closing related documentation for compliance is required prior to approving the release of funds and submitting to Post Closing. The role also involves proactive and effective pipeline management in accordance with performance standard expectations.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Required
- Effective skill maintaining accuracy with attention to detail and meeting deadlines
- Basic word processing and spreadsheet software skills
- Knowledge of mortgage closing and related documents
- Knowledge of mortgage closing procedures and practices
