About The Position

As part of Institutional Banking, the Fund Accounting team supports the company by ensuring client’s net asset values are accurate and timely. These are processed daily and needed for shareholders as it allows them to buy in or sell out of funds they are invested in. Opportunities for growth within the position are based on associate performance and time within the department. Seasoned associates will be responsible for more complex mutual funds with larger variety of investment types. Associates can expect to manage 5-7 funds daily while moving toward a Sr Fund Accountant. The team works hard but, in a fun, relaxed environment where the dress code is casual. Associates will complete tasks individually but still have a team around them to offer support when needed. An inclusive environment where senior leaders go out of their way to meet new associates.

Requirements

Accounting or Finance degree

Responsibilities

Calculate the net asset value daily.
Use analytical skillset to reconcile cash in order to balance funds daily.
Use detail-orientation to process shareholder activity and security trades within investments to ensure compliance.
Run necessary accruals and process any corporate actions.
