About The Position

The Functional Strength Coach will provide Holistic Health and Fitness (HHF) support to Airmen assigned to the 621st Contingency Response Wing (CRW). The HHF program combines athletic training, functional strength, and mindfulness coaching to provide an integrated approach to holistic human development. The Functional Strength Coach will support evidence-based Human Performance (HP) programs designed around the unique operational requirements of CRW personnel, including the strength, endurance, mobility, and durability necessary to perform demanding contingency response missions. The contractor shall provide qualified personnel and all necessary non-personal services required to accomplish the performance objectives established by the PWS. Functional Strength Coaching will provide mission-specific performance support designed to prepare Airmen for the physical demands associated with global mobility, airbase opening, contingency response, heavy load carriage, equipment movement, aircraft handling, security operations, and other high-tempo mobility tasks. Services will be tailored to the requirements of individual CRW career fields and designed to support sustained physical readiness. The 621st Contingency Response Wing requires HHF support to increase readiness and lethality, improve physical and non-physical performance, reduce preventable injuries, improve rehabilitation after injury, and increase mindfulness among assigned Airmen. CRW personnel operate in austere, resource-limited, and rapidly changing environments. The Human Performance program is intended to provide physical performance solutions that reflect the varied demands of CRW missions and Air Force Specialty Codes.
