About The Position

This position is contingent on contract award. Candidates will only be contacted if BGMG is awarded the contract. The Functional Strength Coach will design and deliver strength and conditioning programs supporting rapid airbase opening, heavy load carriage, equipment movement, and high-tempo mobility tasks. This role involves building mission-specific performance programming across varied Air Force Specialty Codes (AFSCs), conducting fitness assessments, and maintaining secure, compliant training records. The coach will also provide monthly performance reporting metrics to the COR and coordinate with Athletic Trainers and Mindfulness Coaches as part of an integrated HP team. The position requires the ability to work in a field environment, including hours of darkness and inclement weather, and pass drug screening.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field
• Current Strength & Conditioning certification (CSCS or equivalent)
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance prior to start; must maintain clearance for the duration of the contract
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working in a field environment, including hours of darkness and inclement weather
• Ability to pass pre-employment and periodic drug screening (urinalysis)
