About The Position

Exos is hiring a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach to provide Holistic Health and Fitness (HHF) support to Airmen assigned to the Contingency Response Wing (CRW). This is a great opportunity to gain valuable resume building experience in a tactical setting while working with Airmen to improve physical readiness and reduce preventable injuries. Certified Strength and Conditioning Coaches will work as part of a multi-disciplinary performance team and perform the following duties: Conduct evaluations and performance assessments and develop programs focused on mission-specific conditioning. Guide the implementation of individualized programs and group training sessions, ensuring alignment with human performance objectives, injury prevention strategies, and the Airmen’s overall healthcare plan. Provide field-ready strength and conditioning guidance to maintain functional performance during deployments in operational environments. Serve as a human performance advisor to unit commanders, providing recommendations on injury prevention, program improvements, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and fitness program protocols. Maintain a safe training environment by ensuring proper equipment usage, reporting safety concerns, and advising on facility layout, and exercise protocols. Collaborate throughout the HHF team to enhance the effectiveness of performance solutions. Document work performed and performance data in approved electronic record systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Kinesiology or Exercise Science from an accredited college or university.
  • Certified as a Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator® (TSAC-F®) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® (CSCS®) by the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association).
  • 2+ years of full-time experience as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist
  • Current CPR, AED and FA certifications.
  • Current (or ability to obtain and maintain) Secret security clearance (T3 background investigation).
