Functional Family Therapist
About The Position
Spurwink is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change that will be sustained long after treatment ends. As a Functional Family Therapist, you will receive evidenced-based training in the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model, which has proven effectiveness in helping youth aged 10-18 make life-transforming changes by addressing challenging and/or problematic behavior. The course of FFT treatment is typically 3-6 months. This position offers an ideal learning opportunity for clinicians in a powerful, evidenced-based model, with on-the-job training, intensive weekly individual and group supervision, and mileage reimbursement.
Requirements
- LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, LCPC-c, LMFT, or LMFT-c.
- Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule including late afternoons or evenings.
- Provide counseling in families' homes, in an office-based setting and via telehealth.
- Maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record.
