Johnson County Mental Health is hiring a licensed Master’s Level Clinician to work in their Family Focus program, providing clinical services to justice involved youth, ages 12-18, who are referred by the Department of Corrections and have been diagnosed with severe emotional disabilities (SED) and their families. Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is provided with the goal of maintaining severely emotionally disturbed youth in the most natural, least restrictive setting possible. The schedule requires evening availability. Services will primarily take place in the youth/families home, with an office location in Olathe. Evening availability is required. The schedule will vary based on the needs of the children served. A typical work schedule is from 10am -7pm. This team with utilize Functional Family Therapy as the primary mode of treatment. Training/experience with FFT and working with youth involved in Corrections is a plus. Position will remain open until filled. Johnson County has implemented a skill-based pay plan of up to $4200 annually for staff who have obtained licensure by the BSRB at the Clinical Level.
