Functional Consultant – D365 Business Central
About The Position
As a D365 Business Central Functional Consultant, you will lead and support Business Central implementations for clients across a variety of industries, with a strong focus on finance and business process transformation. You'll serve as a trusted advisor throughout the full implementation lifecycle, helping clients evaluate their business needs, streamline processes, design effective solutions, and maximize the return on their ERP investment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help develop our Dynamics 365 Business Central practice while working directly with clients and internal project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Dynamics NAV, or a similar ERP solution.
- Experience participating in full-cycle ERP implementation projects from discovery through go-live and support.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, business processes, and ERP best practices.
- Proven experience with business process analysis, requirements gathering, solution design, and process improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certifications (MB-800 or related certifications) are considered a strong asset.
- Experience with additional Business Central functional areas, process redesign initiatives, or professional designations such as CPA or PMP is considered an asset.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support full-cycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation projects.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding business needs, objectives, and challenges.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions, workshops, and business process analysis activities.
- Design and configure Business Central solutions that align with client requirements and industry’s best practices.
- Provide expertise in Business Central finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Budgeting.
- Deliver end-user training, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support to ensure successful adoption.
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, project managers, and other consultants to deliver high-quality client solutions.
- Contribute to the growth of the Dynamics 365 practice by developing best practices, methodologies, templates, and mentoring team members.
