About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Functional Consultant to support the implementation of Asset & Liability Management (ALM) solutions, with a focus on Ambit Focus / Balance Sheet Manager. In this role, you will work closely with clients from project discovery through implementation, helping configure risk management software, facilitate solution workshops, provide user training, and support clients after go-live. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale balance sheet risk transformation program for a leading financial services client.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience implementing Asset & Liability Management (ALM) solutions and a strong understanding of balance sheet risk management.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), Liquidity Risk Management, IFRS 9 / Expected Credit Loss (ECL).
  • Hands-on implementation experience with one or more of these platforms: Ambit Focus / Balance Sheet Manager, Workiva, Murex, Fusion Risk (Finastra), Fusion Kondor, Calypso.
  • Experience configuring and implementing ALM or risk management software from solution design through go-live.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with regulatory reporting and IFRS 9 / Expected Credit Loss (ECL) frameworks.
  • Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or ACCA.
  • Previous consulting experience with a systems integrator, Big Four consulting firm, or risk software vendor.
  • Exposure to liquidity risk, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) modelling, and balance sheet analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements from discovery through implementation and delivery.
  • Conduct workshops to gather business requirements and design solutions with treasury, risk, and finance stakeholders.
  • Configure and implement ALM software based on client requirements and industry best practices.
  • Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and process documentation.
  • Deliver end-user training and provide post-implementation support.
  • Manage stakeholder communication and issue tracking using tools such as JIRA.
