About The Position

Quizlet is seeking Fullstack Engineers across multiple levels (Staff - Principal Engineers) to join their team. In this role, you will work across the stack to design, build, and ship product features end-to-end. You will contribute to both frontend and backend systems, ensuring a seamless, performant, and engaging user experience. Success will be measured by your ability to deliver high-impact features, improve system quality, and contribute to team velocity. This is an onsite position in either the Denver or San Francisco office, with a requirement to be in the office at least three days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday, to support collaboration.

Requirements

Experience building and shipping production systems across frontend and backend
Strong proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, React, APIs, backend services)
Experience with scalable systems and performance optimization
Ability to work across ambiguity and drive projects end-to-end
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities

Build and ship end-to-end product features across frontend and backend systems
Design scalable, maintainable services and APIs
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data partners to define and deliver solutions
Improve performance, reliability, and user experience across the product
Contribute to code quality, testing, and engineering best practices
Participate in system design, code reviews, and team planning
