Full-Time Substitute
About The Position
This position is for the 2024-2025 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting administration with building relationships with students, supervision of students involved in the discipline continuum, assisting students with classwork, assisting students in completion of makeup work, discussing strategies for success, providing coverage for classrooms when necessary, providing extra hallway supervision when needed, modeling appropriate language and behavior for students, and all other duties assigned by the principal. This position pays Rank IV on the salary schedule.
Requirements
- At least 96 college credit hours
- Must be able to obtain KY certification as a substitute teacher
Responsibilities
- Assisting administration with building relationships with students
- Supervision of students involved in the discipline continuum
- Assisting students with classwork
- Assisting students in completion of makeup work
- Discuss strategies for success
- Providing coverage for classrooms when necessary
- Providing extra hallway supervision when needed
- Modeling appropriate language and behavior for students
- All other duties assigned by the principal
