Full Time Nanny – Alexandria, VA
About The Position
A family in Alexandria, VA 22305 is seeking a dedicated, full-time nanny to join their home and provide engaging, attentive care for their 7-month-old infant. This family has a vaccination policy in place, which will be discussed directly with the candidate. The position is in a work-from-home environment and requires comfort working with a small dog. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Flexible hours are available on Mondays and Fridays to accommodate the family's work-from-home schedule, typically between 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
Requirements
- Extensive newborn and infant care experience
- Fluency in English
- Current Infant CPR certification
- Driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
- Comfortable working with a small dog in the home
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Background or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, age-appropriate newborn and infant care
- Support daily developmental milestones, play, and nurturing routines
- Maintain open and clear communication with parents throughout the day
