About The Position

A lovely family in Scripps Ranch is seeking a temporary full-time nanny for their 8-month-old son. The role requires care Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The ideal candidate will be reliable, punctual, caring, and engaging, with a passion for childcare. Familiarity with important developmental milestones and the ability to creatively support them is highly valued. This is a temporary position, expected to start around the end of May to mid-June 2026 and conclude at the end of August 2026.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 2+ years of paid, professional infant care experience
• Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Must have valid photo ID
• Must have reliable transportation to and from position
• Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
• Must be comfortable with family’s friendly cat
• No smoking on the premises

• Familiarity with important developmental milestones
• Ability to find creative ways to help reach developmental milestones

Responsibilities

• Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestones
• Bottle and light meal prep
• Maintain child's schedules, communication, and routines as set by parents
• Light housekeeping related to the child
• Baby's laundry
• Stroller walks around a hilly neighborhood; weather permitting
