About The Position

Jovie is hiring an experienced, engaging, and fun daycare + nanny childcare worker to work with various daycare facilities and families. You will provide care for young infants and toddlers while their parents work. Most assignments are Monday – Friday during traditional working hours. This position is a good match for you if you already have experience with children from babysitting, nannying, or group settings such as daycares, preschools, or church nurseries.

Requirements

At least 1 year of day-to-day infant experience.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
Ability to provide 3 references (2 related to working with children, paid or unpaid, and 1 character reference).
At least 18 years of age or older.
Minimum of 12 ECE units.
Have or be willing to get an MMR vaccine and a TB test.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Provide care for young infants and toddlers.
Engage children in fun, play, reading, arts and crafts, and similar activities in daycare facilities and families' homes.
Communicate with parents and coworkers.
Clean up activities.
