About The Position

A wonderful family is looking for a Full Time Nanny to care for their two wonderful children in Camas, WA, near Lacamas Lake. This family is seeking a caring, reliable, and engaging nanny to become an important part of their family's support system. The primary focus of this role will be caring for their son (born March 2025), with part-time care for their daughter (born October 2022), including preschool pick-up and after-school care. The family values outdoor play, developmental activities, and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Mom works from home and values a collaborative partnership with their nanny. The family is easygoing, open-minded, and looking for someone who can work together with them to create a positive and supportive environment for their children. The schedule is Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00/8:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM. The position starts the week of July 27, 2026, and is a long-term position with a minimum commitment of 6 months. The rate is $23 per hour for 1 child and $25 per hour for 2 children. The children are 1 year and 3.5 years old.

Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Minimum 2 years of professional childcare experience with toddler aged children
  • CPR and First Aid Certified(or willing to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license with reliable personal vehicle for commuting
  • Ability to pass background, social media, and motor vehicle record checks
  • Two professional childcare references
  • Comfortable working in a home where a parent works remotely

  • Bilingual is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time care for toddler son
  • Provide part-time care for preschool-aged daughter
  • Assist with morning routines before school
  • Transport daughter to and from preschool and/or summer camp as needed (family car seats can be provided for caregivers vehicle)
  • Create engaging, age-appropriate developmental activities
  • Facilitate outdoor play, park visits, library trips, nature outings, and community activities
  • Support children's daily routines, including meals, snacks, and naps
  • Care for both children together after preschool pickup
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
  • Perform light housekeeping related to the children (tidying play areas, children's dishes, children's laundry as needed)
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding schedules, activities, and developmental milestones
