About The Position

Full Time live-out Nanny required for a Dumbo family with twin boys (born September 2025) ASAP. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their sons in a loving, attentive and age-appropriate way. To be successful in this role, you will need to be efficient, neat and a natural multi-tasker who is open to partnering in a team environment. The family is looking for a long term partnership with a nanny who is compassionate, respectful, flexible, upbeat and positive. A nanny experienced with twins or supporting families with multiple young infants/toddlers would be an ideal match for this family. Flexibility as needed for additional hours is essential - weekends, travel with the family (infrequent, international travel), etc. Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and common sense/good judgment are key to this role. Candidates with Montessori training, childcare degree and/or French fluency are preferred, however the family will consider all qualified candidates.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years experience working with families with multiple young children (twin experience would be ideal).
  • A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with infants and toddlers.
  • Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state.
  • Experience in partnering + supporting parents with infant and toddler milestones.
  • Education or equivalent practical knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development.
  • A flexible schedule and ability/interest to support family in NYC with potential additional travel.
  • Experience supporting a busy home (both parents work - Dad works from home).
  • Current passport (or ability to obtain).
