About The Position
3form is hiring a junior to mid-level full stack web developer to help build and improve our website and ecommerce platform. This role includes both frontend and backend work, with a stronger emphasis on building polished user experiences in JavaScript and supporting them in Ruby on Rails. You’ll work on a mix of customer-facing and internal tools, including our website, storefront, checkout, account, and admin functionality.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong JavaScript skills and experience building production web features.
- Working knowledge of Ruby on Rails or a comparable backend framework.
- Comfort contributing to both frontend and backend code.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Ability to meet the required hybrid schedule: four days per week in the West Valley City office.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with React.
- Experience using Ruby on Rails in production.
- Familiarity with ecommerce applications.
- Experience with APIs, relational databases, background jobs, and/or Docker.
- Experience with Spree or Avo ruby gems.
Responsibilities
- Build and improve frontend features in JavaScript.
- Create clean, responsive, user-friendly interfaces matching designs provided by our in-house designers.
- Contribute to backend development in Ruby on Rails.
- Deliver reliable, well-tested features across the stack.
- Debug issues and improve application stability.
- Collaborate with a small team on product and platform improvements.
