About The Position

Full-stack web developer with React.js, Redux, NodeJS, ESRI ArcGIS (must), SQL Server/Oracle, RESTful, Jest/Selenium, Webpack, ECMAScript, Docker, Git/Bitbucket, WCAG/508/Accessibility (must), Enzyme, Agile, Confluence, MuleSoft and government experience. The role involves working with Business Customers, Section Managers, Scrum Masters, Product Owners and team members in a professional and collaborative manner to define strategies, implementation approaches and provide creative solutions to complex problems. The developer will create well-designed, documented, and tested software solutions that meet strict availability, concurrency and low latency requirements. They will turn high-level requirements into a working system through iterative and incremental development, identify and address product bugs, deficiencies, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner, and perform full-stack development using React.js. The role also includes writing web frontends that meet WCAG 2.0 Standards and 508 Compliance/Web Accessibility requirements, working with relational databases, including SQL Server and Oracle, writing T-SQL scripts that store and query relational data, performing in-depth code reviews and analysis, writing unit tests using Jest and Enzyme, writing automated tests using Selenium, writing Webpack configuration files, developing processes and procedures for Application Services, and staying abreast of current technologies, industry standards and best practices. The developer must be productive working independently or in a team environment (both local and remote) with minimal supervision.

Requirements

8 Required Professional experience developing full-stack web applications
8 Required Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript (with at least 3 years spent developing in HTML5, CSS3, and ECMAScript 6)
7 Required Experience with SQL (relational databases), key-value datastores, and document stores
5 Required Experience with React.js
5 Required Experience with Node.js
5 Required Experience writing secure RESTful APIs
5 Required Experience with code reviews and in-depth code analysis
5 Required Experience with highly complex application security requirements

Responsibilities

Develop full-stack web applications.
Develop web frontends that meet WCAG 2.0 Standards and 508 Compliance/Web Accessibility requirements.
Write T-SQL scripts that store and query relational data, including joining and grouping.
Perform in-depth code reviews and analysis.
Write unit tests using Jest, Enzyme.
Write automated tests using Selenium.
Write Webpack configuration files.
Develop processes and procedures for Application Services.
Stay abreast of current technologies, industry standards and best practices.
Turn high-level requirements into a working system through iterative and incremental development.
Identify and address product bugs, deficiencies, and performance bottlenecks in a timely manner.
