The Full Stack Software Engineer at Knight Federal Solutions Inc will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge software solutions. The position requires an experienced professional with a deep understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, capable of delivering robust and scalable applications. The ideal candidate will possess a TS SCI with CI Poly clearance, ensuring the highest standards of security and confidentiality in all operations.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development, with a focus on full stack engineering.
  • Proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining complex web applications.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as JavaScript, Python, Java, and React.
  • Strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure, including AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes.
  • Strong knowledge of database management systems and data modeling.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Experience working within a federal or government contracting environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software solutions across the full stack, including front-end interfaces and back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code integrity and organization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve software development practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
