Full Stack Software Engineer
About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring! Stefanini is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer in Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223 (Hybrid). This role involves building production web applications using modern technologies on both the frontend and backend. The engineer will work with TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, React, and AWS services. The position requires experience with serverless development, SQL Server queries, API design, and infrastructure-as-code. DevOps and CI/CD practices are also important, including experience with GitHub Actions and Git-based workflows. Stefanini is a global provider of outsourcing, IT digital consulting, systems integration, application, and strategic staffing services to Fortune 1000 enterprises.
Requirements
- 3+ years building production web applications in a full-stack capacity (frontend and backend).
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Java (Java 17+ preferred).
- Frontend React (v18/19) with TypeScript and modern hooks-based patterns.
- Vite or comparable modern build tooling.
- Server-state management with TanStack Query (or similar libraries, e.g., SWR, RTK Query).
- Tailwind CSS or another utility-first CSS framework.
- Building responsive, accessible UIs from approved design specs.
- Java-based serverless development (Spring Cloud Function, Spring Boot, or similar frameworks) targeting AWS Lambda.
- Writing and optimizing SQL Server queries (T-SQL), including awareness of locking/isolation behavior in high-concurrency environments.
- Designing clean, well-typed API contracts shared between frontend and backend.
- Experience with core AWS services: Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, S3, RDS, Cognito, Secrets Manager, Systems Manager Parameter Store.
- Infrastructure-as-code experience with AWS CDK (TypeScript) or equivalent (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Git-based trunk workflows with pull request review culture.
Nice To Haves
- Java 25/LTS experience a plus.
- Exposure to data replication/CDC tooling (e.g., AWS DMS) a plus.
