About The Position
Premier Global Links LLC is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to build and enhance software supporting private markets, venture capital operations, portfolio monitoring, financial reporting, and LP reporting. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for an engineer who can work across Python, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and data-intensive applications while partnering directly with investor and finance teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-stack software engineering experience
- Production experience with Python, React, and TypeScript
- Strong SQL and PostgreSQL skills with solid data-modeling experience
- Professional experience building software for private markets, venture capital, investment management, or startup financial operations
- Experience with one or more of: Cap tables, Ownership and dilution, Valuations, Portfolio monitoring, Financial reporting, LP reporting, Fund operations, Capital calls
- Strong ability to work directly with business and investor stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience shipping and maintaining production software
- Ability to work in a hands-on individual contributor engineering role
Nice To Haves
- Experience at a venture capital fund, private markets platform, or financial technology company
- Experience with platforms such as Carta, PitchBook, Pulley, Juniper Square, Aumni, Chronograph, or similar
- AWS production experience, including ECS, CI/CD, and monitoring
- Experience building production applications using LLMs, retrieval, evaluation, or agent tooling
- Experience working with complex financial or investment datasets
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance software for portfolio monitoring, valuations, financial reporting, and LP reporting
- Develop automated data ingestion and data-quality workflows
- Build tools to identify and resolve financial data discrepancies
- Design and maintain scalable backend services using Python
- Build responsive interfaces using React and TypeScript
- Design strong PostgreSQL data models for complex financial data
- Work directly with investor, finance, and operations stakeholders to translate business needs into software
- Develop AI/LLM-powered internal tools where appropriate
- Own features from technical design through production deployment and ongoing improvement
- Participate in production ownership, monitoring, and continuous improvement
