Quadric is redefining edge AI with the industry's first General Purpose Neural Processing Unit (GPNPU), enabling developers to run both neural network inference and conventional C++ code on a single programmable architecture. The Opportunity Quadric has created an innovative General-Purpose Neural Processing Unit (GPNPU) architecture, bringing high-performance AI, DSP, and machine learning compute to edge devices. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be key to making Quadric’s products and toolchain easily accessible and usable through our developer web platform (DevStudio). In this role, you will build, scale, and maintain the web platform, distributed services, and developer interfaces that enable application engineers and global customers to seamlessly deploy AI workloads onto Quadric hardware.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience building, scaling, and maintaining full-stack web applications.
- Expert proficiency in Golang along with strong relational database skills (PostgreSQL) and caching systems (Redis).
- Proficient with core frontend technologies (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3) and modern frameworks like ReactJS.
- Hands-on experience building, running, and deploying Docker containers, alongside strong Linux/Unix system administration and hosting infrastructure maintenance skills.
- Proven experience with building distributed systems, telemetry, observability, and debugging complex software pipelines using Git workflows.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical depth.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of high-level AI/ML concepts and developer toolchains.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and toolchain integration.
- Experience with orchestration tools like the Nomad scheduler.
- Experience developing desktop/CLI applications or managing self-hosted bare-metal compute resources.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product, Business Development, and core Engineering teams to translate product requirements into new web platform features and systems.
- Build and maintain frontend web application interfaces and backend services that interact directly with Quadric’s AI toolchain and developer suite (DevStudio).
- Design and implement scalable distributed services, ensuring system reliability, fault recovery, proper telemetry, and observability.
- Manage host infrastructure, build environments, and containerized deployments using Docker across Linux and Unix-based environments.
- Maintain caching systems (Redis) and relational database infrastructure (PostgreSQL) to optimize performance for heavy developer workloads.
- Implement UI/UX wireframes and prototype designs into fast, clean, responsive frontend applications using modern web technologies.
- Provide ongoing web platform technical support to Field Application Engineers (FAEs) and external customers worldwide.
- Methodically troubleshoot and debug complex toolchain issues, isolating platform bugs vs. toolchain bugs and relaying fixes to core software teams.
- Create detailed technical documentation, developer portal resources, and application notes for newly deployed features.
